Abstract: This document contains the core experiments as defined at the WG1 meeting held in Kobe, Japan and the WG1 interim meeting held in Poitiers, France. These experiments will be performed on the JPEG-XR test sets (defined by the guidelines given in document n4441) that can be downloaded at etro6.vub.ac.be (user and password are available at the WG1 member webpage). These experiment results will be reviewed ath the WG1 San Francisco meeting starting at March 31st, 2008.
