Abstract: The demonstrator addresses the problem of localising a trans-mitter using time dierence of arrival (TDOA) between pairsof nodes in a Long Range (LoRa) wireless sensor network(WSN). The proposed frequency counter scheme is able totimestamp multiple incoming LoRa (burst) transmissions inan eort to accurately determine the dierence in arrivalacross multiple base stations. Our proposed system demon-strates that localisation services based on LoRa are possiblewith a TDOA accuracy of 58 ns.
